What is the difference between a tithe and an offering?

The word tithe means a tenth or 10%. A tithe is the first 10% of your income. An offering is what you give above and beyond the 10%.

Why do we tithe?

When we tithe as the Lord requires, we put Him first and it serves as a reminder that He will provide. Our contributions both monetary and physical, through The Father’s House will help spread Christ’s message of new life through salvation and healing. Through our tithes and offerings, we demonstrate faithfulness in the stewardship of all God has provided.

We appreciate your gift to support the work at The Father’s House. Although we put forth our best efforts to honor donor intent, ultimate discretion and control of donated funds rests with the Senior Pastor and Board of Elders. In the event a “Designated Gift” cannot be used as designated, every effort will be made to first utilize that gift in a similar fashion or redirect the gift to other appropriate ministries or projects.
